Anja Mittermüller

Born in Klosterneuburg in 2003, the Austrian mezzo-soprano has been passionate about classical music and opera since attending the opera at the age of nine. She is currently receiving her musical training at the Hanover University of Music, Theater and Media Hanover with Prof. Dr. Marek Rzepka. She attended master classes with KS Brigitte Fassbaender, KS Ildiko Raimondi, Prof. Claudia Visca, KS Kurt Equiluz, KS Robert Holl, Jan Petryka, Sir András Schiff and Maestro Franz Welser-Möst.
Anja Mittermüller has also performed with artists such as KS Daniela Fally, KS Michael Schade and KS Adrian Eröd. In summer 2021, she made her debut at Oper Klosterneuburg as “Curra” in Giuseppe Verdi’s “La forza del destino” under the artistic direction of Michael Garschall and the musical direction of Christoph Campestrini. A few months later, she made her debut at the Wiener Konzerthaus as part of the “Musica Juventutis”. She also took part in several Schubertiades by KS Robert Holl and Sir András Schiff, at the Wiener Musikverein, Wiener Konzerthaus, in Dürnstein and Atzenbrugg.
