Theresa Steininger-Mocnik works as a cultural journalist for renowned domestic media. She writes constantly for “Die Presse” and “Die Furche” as well as the magazine “Österreichs Journalist:in”. Among her current clients are also “Musikfreunde”, the magazine of the Musikverein Vienna, and the magazine of the Festspielfreunde Salzburg.

She has done dramaturgical work and programme texts for the Vienna State Opera and the Tonkünstler Orchestra of Lower Austria, among others, and has given introductory lectures for the Tonkünstler, Jeunesse and Allegro Vivo. In the course of her more than twenty years as a cultural journalist, she has also worked for “Profil”, “Salzburger Nachrichten”, “Kurier” and others.
